About PassTheFCE
PassTheFCE is a free, independent study site for the Cambridge B2 First (FCE) exam. Every guide, practice task and model answer is written from scratch by experienced exam teachers and checked against the current official exam specifications.

Why this site exists
Most free B2 First material online is either years out of date or copied from old past papers. Students deserve better: clear explanations of what each part of the exam tests, honest strategies, and practice they can do right now on a phone.
We built PassTheFCE to be the place we wished our own students could use between lessons.
What makes our material different
- Up to date. Every exam fact on the site comes from one checked list. Each fact has an official source and a date, and we review it at least once a year.
- Original. We never copy questions, texts or audio from Cambridge or other websites. Every task is written by our team.
- Practical. Each guide covers strategy, common traps, a worked example and practice. It is not just a description of the exam.
- Honest. Our score calculator and writing checker give estimates. Only Cambridge can give you an official result.
